Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and an EMDR Trained Clinician with approximately 13 years of clinical experience. Her specialties include working with trauma and addictions. She also enjoys working with individuals who have eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, grief and loss, codependency and interpersonal relationship issues.
Jessica received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Ramapo College of New Jersey and received her Master's Degree in Social Work from New York University. She is in the process of becoming a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Somatic Experiencing is an organic process to resolve trauma in a slow, gentle and powerful way.
Jessica has experience in both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse settings. She has worked for Bergen County’s Halfway House for Women since 2010. As a clinician she maintained an individual caseload, facilitated psychotherapy groups and collaborated with Drug Court and the Department of Child Protection and Permanency for mandated clients. In 2021 Jessica became the Clinical Director of the program where she supervised the clinical staff and worked in conjunction with the Program Director to oversee the clinical program.
Jessica has worked in the private practice setting since 2013 and ultimately established her own practice in 2017. In 2022, Jessica made the decision to leave her full-time position to pursue her practice full-time. Her practice is comprised of teens, young adults and adults with trauma, substance use disorders, PTSD, eating disorders, grief, mood disorders, anxiety and interpersonal relationship issues.
